TMC To Return In Bengal, Tight Contest In Assam, BJP Fails To Impress In Kerala: ABP- C Voter Exit Poll

In West Bengal, the ruling TMC was seen in a tight contest with the BJP, while projections for the neighbouring Assam gave a clear edge to the BJP-led alliance over the Congress-led opposition.

Exit Poll Results 2021: Several Exit Poll surveys aired by news organisations on Thursday forecast a tight contest between the incumbent Trinamool Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the high-profile West Bengal Assembly Elections, while the ruling Left combine was projected to retain power in Kerala and so was the case for the saffron party in Assam.

These Exit Polls also projected the Congress+DMK-led Opposition alliance as a winner in Tamil Nadu, while the Congress-led alliance was seen losing the neighbouring Puducherry by some pollsters.

As the first exit polls began getting telecast soon after the eight-phase elections ended in West Bengal, the ruling TMC was seen in a tight contest with the BJP in assembly polls for the politically important state, while projections for the neighbouring Assam gave a clear edge to the BJP-led alliance over the Congress-led opposition.

ABP-CVoter Exit Poll Results:

ABP News-CVoter Exit Poll gave TMC an edge over BJP and Congress+Left alliance in West Bengal. As per the survey, the ruling dispensation is most likely to secure somewhere between 152 to 164 seats in the 294-member Bengal Assembly. 

In Assam, the ABP CVoter Exit Poll shows NDA's return to power in a very close electoral contest. The saffron party-led alliance is expected to secure around 58 to 71 seats in 126-member Assembly. Meanwhile, Congress-led alliance is most likely to bag somewhere around 53 to 66 seats.

Likewise in Kerala, ABP CVoter Exit Poll shows that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan-Led LDF is all set to return to power. The survey hints LDF government may win with a simple majority in the Kerala Polls 2021, by capturing somewhere between 71-77 seats, in 140-member Assembly. (the magic number is 71).
