Election Results 2022: The counting of votes for five state assembly elections began at 8 am and is underway. After the initial trends suggested some surprising outcomes, the result of various seats has been declared. BJP is all set to celebrate its victory in Uttar Pradesh and according to ABP news sources, party workers will gather at BJP's central office in New Delhi today. PM Modi and Amit Shah are also expected to join the victory celebration.
On the other hand, Congress has been swept away by the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab as people have accepted Kejriwal's party in the state giving them a clear mandate.
The Election Commission will publish the leading and trailing candidates on its official website and the final results will be published later in the evening.
