You can simply download the licence application form and fill the form according to the documents required. After this, you are required to sit for a written test and interview and you can successfully get your licence. - Learner's licence. An individual will first be provided with the learner licence. After a month, the issuer has to appear before the RTO authority for the test. After proper examination, he/she will be declared passed and then considered for the driving licence.
- You might submit any of these documents as your Age Proof -Birth certificate -PAN Card -Passport -10th class mark sheet -Transfer certificate from any school -Voter ID
- Any of the following documents can be submitted as address proof -Ration card -Voter ID card -Aadhaar card -Passport -Electricity bill or telephone bill -Life insurance policy
- Learner's licence
- Passport-sized photographs
- Medical certificate for applicants over 40 years of age
- Application form
- Provide your gas or electricity bill if you are staying in some other city, as current address proof

- Ration card
- Physical Fitness Declaration
- Medical certificate form
- In order to provide age proof, one may submit -Passport -Voter's identity card -Birth certificate -School matriculation certificate -Life insurance policy
- An affidavit sworn before a Public Notary or Magistrate.

Important points to know before applying for a driving licence
- You must be above 16 years of age for two-wheeler licence and 18 years for four-wheelers.
- It is only after 30 days that you can apply for driving licence after learner licence has been issued.
- Learner's licence holders have to apply for a driving licence within 6 months after learner's licence has been issued.
