Digvijaya Singh challenges PM Modi to file sedition case against him over 'Pulwama accident' tweet

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and two-time MP Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh on Wednesday posted a series of tweets daring Prime Minister Narendra Modi to file sedition case against him over ‘Pulwama accident’ tweet of his on the incident. In series of early morning tweets, Singh said that the Modi govt still remained close guarded over the ‘intelligence failure’ that resulted in the Pulwama terror attack. Singh had earlier raised questions overs the credibility of the air strikes executed by the Indian Air Force on JeM terror camps in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir ,asking the Modi govt for proof . In one of the tweets, Singh had termed the Pulwama terror attack as a ‘durghatna’ or ‘accident’. Soon, the Congress leaders remarked created a flurry in the political circles with as many as three senior BJP ministers lashing out at him and saying the Congress leader is speaking in the ’language of Pakistan.’ In today’s tweets, Singh said that the ‘Pakistan supporting’ tweet was posted from Delhi and the police in the National Capital comes under the Centre. “If you have the courage, then file case against me,” Singh said. He said that why the Modi government has not sought clarification from the NSA, RA&W or IB chief over the Pulwama terror attack.
