Demonetisation is a 'Modi-made disaster', will ensure 'suit-boot' govt at Centre is removed, says Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi: The Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi insulted farmers in the Parliament by saying they dig pots.
PM made fun of MNREGA which is the backbone of farmers, said Rahul while addressing a public rally in Belgaum, Karnataka.
Hitting PM on demonetisation, Rahul said, it is a "Modi-made disaster".
Mentioning about Vijay Mallya's loan waiver Congress VP said-"Mallya is chief of India. I want to ask PM why he offered him toffee of Rs 1200 crore? Why his loan is waived off?"
Congress will ensure the 'suit-boot' govt at the Centre run for 1 percent super-rich is removed, said Rahul Gandhi in the rally.

Attacking Congress VP Rahul Gandhi, BJP president Amit Shah said on Saturday-‘Rahul baba aap humse sawaal matt puchiye. Humesha gadbad ho jaati hai, aapka nuksaan ho jata hai’.
Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah said that government understand people’s difficulty due to demonetisation of higher currency notes, but these 50 days will provide relief from black money for the coming 50 years.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sought 50 days to ease the hardship.
“We know line is there people are facing difficulty. But Modi has sought 50 days. The inconvenience of these 50 days will provide relief from black money for the coming 50 years,” Shah said while addressing a rally at Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
He also said that if Uttar Pradesh needs to be pushed towards progress, the people have to elect BJP to power with 2/3rd majority.
“Modi has sanctioned Rs one lakh crore per year to Uttar Pradesh but still there is no progress in the state,” he said and added-"UP is unable to progess because some times it gets caught between Chacha-Bhatija, sometimes between Bua-Bhatija".
"Akhilesh sensing defeat from now itself. Even if all parties come together they won’t be able to stop BJP’s win in UP", Amit Shah said attacking present CM of UP.
