Delhi Police Special Cell arrests Jaish Commander wanted in Pulwama attack case

As per reports, he was a close aide of Pulwama attack mastermind Mudassir.

New Delhi: Delhi Police Special Cell arrested a Jaish-e-Mohammad commander Sajjad Khan, who was wanted in the Pulwama terror attack case in Kashmir. Sajjad was arrested on Thursday night from Red Fort area in the National Capital. He was roaming in Delhi as trader of shawls. As per reports, he was a close aide of Pulwama attack mastermind Mudassir. As per reports, Sajjad’s brother was killed in an encounter with Ajhar Masood’s nephew-Usmaan Haider; and another brother was also killed in an encounter. The police are now interrogating the nabbed terrorist. A suicide bomb attack by Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists on February 14, claimed the lives of 40 Indian soldiers, straining the relations between India and neighbouring Pakistan further and building an international pressure on Pakistan to take action against terror groups bred in its territory.
