Delhi Police ASI Dies By Suicide Inside PCR Van; Probe Underway To Ascertain Reason Of Death
The incident took place when the ASI was on duty near Zakhira Flyover, and other policemen on the duty were outside the vehicle.
In a shocking incident, a Delhi Police assistant sub-inspector allegedly died by suicide inside a PCR van near Zakhira Flyover in the national capital.
As per the news agency ANI, the ASI was on duty near Zakhira Flyover. He was on duty when he allegedly shot himself dead inside the PCR van near Zakhira Flyover. The police have initiated a probe to ascertain the reason behind the deceased taking this extreme step.
A year ago in a similar incident, a Delhi Police constable had allegedly shot himself inside a police station in the Vasant Vihar area in Delhi.
Constable Sandeep Kumar, who was posted with special staff in southwest Delhi’s Vasant Vihar died by suicide using his service revolver, following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital, as per PTI report. The 34-year-old constable was declared dead, and no suicide note was recovered. The family too does not know the reason behind the alleged suicide.
While in the latest incident this week, an 81-year-old retired Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer allegedly shot himself dead with a pistol at his house in south Delhi''s Defence Colony area on Wednesday morning, as per PTI. A suicide note was found from the deceased, Ranjeet Sethi who mentioned that he does not want to live any longer.
Police were informed around 7.25 am that a man had shot himself in his house in Defence Colony. Sethi''s domestic help made a PCR call stating that he was alive and needed an ambulance.
