Dehradun: 10 things PM Narendra Modi said while addressing the crowd during Parivartan Rally
New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed a Parivartan Rally in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. PM initiated his speech by talking about the char dham project. He said, “The inauguration of Char Dham project is a tribute to those who lost their lives during Uttarakhand flash floods”.
- PM while commenting on previous governments said, “the previous governments could not fulfill the basic needs of the people”
- PM also spoke about Uttarakhand tourism and questioned, “tourism is the biggest asset of Uttarakhand. If facilities are provided,then which family in the country would not want to come here?”
- Char Dham project offers employment opportunities for the people of Uttarakhand
- Even after so many years of independence 18,000 villages in our country are such which still do not have electricity. My Government took the initiative and said that we will electrify villages within 1000 days. Over 12,000 villages have already been electrified: PM Modi
