DDMA Meeting: Schools, Colleges & Gyms To Reopen In Delhi In View Of Declining Covid-19 Cases
Delhi New Corona Guidelines: The duration of the night curfew will also be reduced by one hour. The new night curfew timings are 11 pm to 5 am.
Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), the organization responsible for management of the Covid-19 situation in the national capital, held a meeting chaired by Delhi Lt Governor Anil Baijal on Friday.
In view of declining Covid-19 cases in the capital, the DDMA has decided to ease some restrictions. ANI reported that schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and gyms in Delhi would reopen under the newly issued guidelines.
The duration of the night curfew will also be reduced by one hour. The night curfew timings are11 pm to 5 am.

CM Arvind Kejriwal was also present at the DDMA virtual meeting.
In Delhi, institutions of higher education to open subject to SoPs & strict adherence to COVID appropriate behaviour. Schools to open in a phased manner. Schools for classes 9th-12th to reopen from Feb 7. Teachers who aren't vaccinated will not be permitted.
DDMA, in its meeting also permitted offices to function with 100% attendance in the city. Single drivers in cars will be exempted from mask mandate.
Last week, the DDMA decided to lift the weekend curfew and odd-even system of opening non-essential shops in the city besides permitting restaurants and bars to reopen with 50 percent seating capacity. The government offices were also allowed to reopen with 50 percent of staff.
