WATCH: Days after chanting 'Bharat Mata ki Jai’, Farooq Abdullah heckled during Eid prayer

NEW DELHI: Days after a video of National Conference’s (NC) Farooq Abdullah showed him chanting ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, he drew anger and resentment in Kashmir during Eid prayers at Hazratbal Mosque, Srinagar.
Soon after the National conference leader finished and got up to leave, some protestors took their shoes in their hands while shouting ‘Shame Shame’ and 'Azadi' slogans. Earlier at the all-party prayer meet, organised to pay tribute to Bharat Ratna Vajpayee, Abdullah had culminated his speech by slogans of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Jai Hind'.
It is reported that before the prayers, as the Imam spoke about Article 35-A, Abdullah walked in.
