Coronavirus: Indian Railways Issues Advisory; Directs All Zones To Set Up Isolation Wards

Coronavirus: The Indian Railways has advised all the zones to have isolation wards in railway hospitals amd keep up with all the medical arrangements.

New Delhi: As the number of cases of novel coronavirus cases soared to 29, and panic gripped people across the country, Indian Railways has issued advisory to all railway zones to remain alert. The Railway Ministry has asked all the zones to keep up with all the preparations in their respective zones. The zones have been directed to spread awareness about coronavirus, to create isolation wards in railway hospitals, to make all medical arrangements, to be involved in training provided by the central and state government, to provide immediate information on any case related to coronavirus and to take other necessary steps. The statement also instructed hospitals to treat the cases related to fever with care, separately from other patients. They have also been advised not to come to Mathura-Vrindavan, most famous for Holi, due to fear of coronavirus.
