Pramod Krishnam Supported BJP On Ram Mandir Ceremony, Criticised I.N.D.I.A.

Krishnam, a spiritual leader, stirred controversy recently by aligning with the BJP on the Ram temple consecration matter. He garnered attention when he invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone of the Kalki Dham temple in Sambhal, scheduled for February 19.  While attending the ‘Prana Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Krishnam defended his actions, stating, "There is no bar on attending the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla, so being there was not a crime", as quoted by news agency IANS.

"However, if the Congress feels that I have committed a crime, I am ready to accept any punishment," he remarked.

Earlier this month, responding to his invitation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude, stating, "It is a privilege for me to be a part of this sacred occasion associated with faith and devotion. Heartfelt gratitude to you for the invitation @AcharyaPramodk Ji."

Krishnam, also known to be an advisor to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, is said to have been disappointment after not being named the UPCC chief, IANS reported. He has also not shied away from directly criticising the Congress party and the I.N.D.I.A. bloc over several controversies including the reaction to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir ceremony last month.
