They were seen collecting invitations and displaying them to the camera shouting Jai Shri Ram. Many renowned personalities from different areas  -- politics, actors, sportspersons, artists etc. will be gracing the event and the preparations for the same are underway.

BJP workers in Kolkata also distributed invitations for the idol consecration ceremony

The idol of 'Ram Lalla' carved by Karnataka’s renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj has been finalised for installation in the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said on Monday. He said the idol has been finalised for Prana Pratishtapana (consecration) of Lord Rama and it has been carved by sculptor Yogiraj Arun.

"The selection of the idol for the Prana Pratishtapana of Lord Rama in Ayodhya has been finalized. The idol of Lord Rama, carved by renowned sculptor of our country Yogiraj Arun, will be installed in Ayodhya," posted Joshi on X, formerly Twitter in Kannada.

Meanwhile, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Sunday said "some people" have been seeking funds in the name of the Ayodhya Ram temple trust without any approval and a complaint has been made to Uttar Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Union home ministry requesting for immediate action against them.

In a post on X, VHP national spokesperson Vinod Bansal also cautioned people against falling into the trap of people "trying to dupe" them in the name of the temple trust - Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.

"Beware! Some people are trying to cheat people carrying fake ID of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra," the VHP spokesperson Bansal said in in post on X.
