This year CBSE had been at the centre of the paper-leak controversy as the question paper of class 10 math exam and class 12 economic exam were circulated in different Whatsapp groups hours before the examination.
CBSE had to re-conduct these two examinations, leading to widespread anxiety and stress among students.
The class 12 exam was supposed to end on April 13 with the last Physical Education paper but it was extended to April 27 as a re-examination was ordered for economics.
As many as 11,86,306 students had registered for the class 12 exams which were held in more than 4000 centres in both India and abroad.
