Can Sense Widespread Resentment Against Mamata Government: Amit Shah In West Bengal

After addressing rally in Bankura, Shah said: “I can see in the eyes of people the hope for change in West Bengal that is possible only under the leadership of our PM Narendra Modi ji.”

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah who is on a two-day tour of West Bengal has stated that there is a widespread resentment among the people against Mamata Banerjee government, while on the other hand there is  strong faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Also Read: Delhi Suffers Under Double Whammy Of Rising Pollution And Third Wave Of Covid-19 After addressing rally in Bankura, Shah said: “I can see in the eyes of people the hope for change in West Bengal that is possible only under the leadership of our PM Narendra Modi ji.” He alleged that the state government does not allow the development measures of the centre to reach the common people.  Mamata government is not letting the benefits of over 80 schemes of the Central government reach the poor, he said. At  the rally Shah also promised to reinstate 'Sonar Bangla' when voted to power. "The death knell of Mamata Banerjee's regime has rung. We will form the next government in Bengal with a two-third majority," he added. Shah also criticised the state government over the attack and killings of BJP workers in West Bengal. On Wednesday night, Shah met the family members of a BJP worker allegedly killed in judicial custody last month. Accompanied by state BJP president Dilip Ghosh and senior BJP leaders, the family members of Ghorai met Shah at the Kolkata airport. Madan Ghorai was arrested in Patashpur in Purba Medinipur district on September 26 in connection with a kidnapping case. He died on October 13. Also Watch:
