Burari family death case: These findings rule out the possibility of suicide
New Delhi: As police conducts the first round of investigation of the crime scene, the mystery of the death of 11 members of the same family in Burari gets even more jumbled.
At the first sight, the case looked like the one of a collective suicide and it appeared that the entire family committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling together. However later discoveries hint that it might be a murder instead.
Here are the findings that rule out the possibility of suicide:
- Ten members of the family were found hanging, but the most elderly woman of the family was found dead on the floor.
- Delhi police has claimed that the old woman was strangled to death. Either somebody killed her or the woman strangled herself. The question that rises here is why the woman would chose a different way of committing suicide.
- Many bodies were blindfolded.
- Hands and feet of many bodies were also tied.
- The door was found open.
- The feet of the bodies that were hanging almost touched the ground.
