One of the key legislation that is expected to be taken up for consideration in the Budget session includes the much-talked-about Personal Data Protection Bill. Previously, a joint committee was set up to review the same. Meanwhile, opposition parties may finally get the opportunity to raise the matter of farmers' protest agitating against agrarian laws at the borders of the national capital. The hit to economy and employment amid Coronvirus-induced circumstances may also be discussed - bringing back the apathetic memory of migrants walking back to their native regions during the nationwide lockdown. Parliament will adjourn on February 15 for various Standing Committees to consider the Demands for Grants of Ministries/Departments and prepare their reports, to reconvene on March 8.
