BSP supremo Mayawati lashes out at PM Narendra Modi over ‘Dalit remark’

New Delhi: BSP supremo Mayawati on Monday lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his hard hitting statement on Dalits in Hyderabad where PM said, “Attack me, shoot me, not Dalits”. Prime Minister’s statement came after his party faced heat form the opposition over the matter. Hitting out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mayawati said “UP and other states have elections soon, and they knew that Dalit people are not going to vote for them, that’s why the statement has come. Mayawati went on to call PM as “Kumbhkaran” saying that “BJP kept quiet for 2 years, and have their eyes opened now”. Not Just Mayawati, even Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav hit out at PM Modi and said, “Their concern came forward after they predicted their loss”. On being asked about Swati Singh’ wife of Dayashankar; the suspended BJP leader who made foul remarks on BSP supremo, Mayawati lost her cool and said, “she doesn’t have time to answer such questions.”
