BRS Leader Alleges Assault By Congress Workers In Telangana's Kollapur; Kavitha Slams Attack
According to BRS leaders, Paramesh and other party workers were setting up banners and flexies in preparation for Kavitha’s visit when the attack took place in Satapur village.

Tensions flared in Kollapur, Telangana, as Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) youth leader and former Market Committee Director Gajjula Paramesh was allegedly assaulted by Congress workers. The incident occurred late Thursday night, just ahead of BRS MLC K Kavitha’s visit to the region.
The Congress workers who were involved in the attack were reportedly followers of Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, as per a report on Telangana Today.
According to BRS leaders, Paramesh and other party workers were setting up banners and flexies in preparation for Kavitha’s visit when the attack took place in Satapur village, under Peddakothapally mandal. Paramesh, who has been vocal about the Congress government’s failure to fulfill its promises, was reportedly targeted by the Minister’s supporters.
Locals rushed Paramesh to a nearby hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries. He was discharged on Friday morning. BRS leaders have accused the police of inaction, claiming that no steps were taken to address the assault or hold the perpetrators accountable.
BRS MLC K Kavitha, who visited the injured leader, condemned the attack and warned against further violence targeting party workers. “Such attacks on our workers will not be tolerated. We demand immediate action against those responsible,” she stated.
