PM Modi, Amit Shah To Visit Gujarat Today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat today. Around 10 am, the Prime Minister will be visiting the newly built Multispecialty Hospital, Matushree. He will then address a public program at the venue following which he will address a seminar of leaders of various cooperatives at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the IFFCO-built Nano Urea (Liquid) Plant at Kalol built at a cost of about Rs 175 crore.
Jamiat Ulema Hind's Conference On Gyanvapi Case Today
Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind is going to hold a big conference of two days from today. This conference, being organised by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind (Maulana Mahmood Madani Group) will be held in Deoband today and tomorrow. In the conference, resolutions will be passed after discussing various issues, including the current situation of the country. The preparations for the event were finalised on Friday.
Maha: Nurses Of State-Run Hospitals To Go On Srike Today
Over 15,000 nurses of state-run hospitals in Maharashtra will be going on an indefinite strike from today to protest against the state’s decision to outsource recruitment of nurses to a private agency, according to their association. The Maharashtra State Nurses Association (MSNA) had earlier called for a two-day strike on May 27-28.
"None of our demands have been met. So we are going on indefinite strike from May 28," general secretary of the MSNA Sumitra Tote said on Friday.
Prez Kovind To On Second Day Of His MP Visit Today
President Ram Nath Kovind reached Madhya Pradesh for a three-day visit. During his tour, he is scheduled to take part in a health event and also lay the foundation stones of some urban projects, officials said.
Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangu Bhai Patel and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan welcomed the president on his arrival at the state hangar at Bhopal Airport. Kovind later left for the Raj Bhawan where he will be staying during his visit, officials added.
"He will take part in an Arogya Bharti programme on the theme 'One-Nation-One-Health-System is The Need of the Hour' at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center here on Saturday noon. Later, in the evening, he will lay foundation stones for ten urban health institution buildings to be built at a cost of Rs 182.10 crore," an official said.

India-Bangladesh Passenger Train Service To Resume From Sunday After 2 Yr Covid Hiatus
West Bengal: Passenger train services between Bangladesh and India will resume tomorrow after a long break of more than 2 years due to Covid-19 pandemic. India-Bangladesh Maitree Express and Bandhan Express will resume from May 29 and 30 respectively: Ekalabya Chakraborty, Chief PRO Eastern Railway
Mitali Express, the third India- Bangladesh train service is set to start on June 1 from New Jalpaiguri to Dhaka. Tickets have been booked for all the three trains. People from both countries are happy after the announcement: Ekalabya Chakraborty, Chief PRO Eastern Railway.
