Adesh Gupta, the head of the Delhi BJP, spoke at the news conference and stated: "Delhi's excise policy has proved to be a corrupt one. Arvind Kejriwal is the kingpin of this entire scam."
When it came time to assist those impacted by COVID, according to Bhatia, Kejriwal was busy engaging in corruption by approving the excise policy.
"Roots of the excise policy 'scam' lead to the doorstep of corrupt Kejriwal. No one is above law and no corrupt person will be spared," he was quoted by PTI in its report.
The BJP spokesman responded to the AAP's assertion that Kejriwal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will face off directly in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by saying that everyone is aware of what transpired in the elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Goa.
The general population would respond to the AAP, he said.
In connection with the inconsistencies in the Delhi government's Excise Policy 2021–22, the Central Bureau of Investigation conducted 31 searches on Friday, including Manish Sisodia's home.
