On Haryana Cong Chief's Remarks About PM Modi, BJP Asks 'Is This Rahul Gandhi's Mohabbat Ki Dukaann'
BJP leader Biplab Kumar Deb strongly hit out at Haryana Congress Chief Udai Bhan for making derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked for his apology.
Former Tripura Chief Minister and BJP's Haryana in-charge Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday strongly hit out at Haryana Congress Chief Udai Bhan for making derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a viral video on X (formerly Twitter). Commenting on the objectionable remarks made by Bhan about PM Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar without naming them, Deb said such words show the distorted mentality of Congress. Hitting out at the Haryana Congress leader, Deb dubbed Bhan's remarks as a reflection of the “pervert mentality” of the opposition party.

ये है राहुल गांधी की मोहब्बत की दुकान?

On his X (formerly Twitter) profile, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Deb asked if this is Rahul Gandhi's love shop. He also said, “Did any opposition leader condemn this? Congress asked him to apologise?”
Haryana BJP President Om Prakash Dhankar also commented on Bhan's statement and said it is a very unfortunate statement from Congress leader Udai Bhan. He further said Bhan crossed all the limits as it's unfortunate to address the senior-most leader (PM Modi) of the country and state CM by using such words.

However, Bhan defended his comments and was quoted as saying by news agency ANI: "What have I said that is wrong…I have only described the truth. Is this language wrong, this is a normal language in Haryana. We call unmarried men by this slang in Haryana and that is not an abuse.”
"I have only spoken the truth. If I had said something wrong, like what was said by that MP, I would have apologised. This is just a light comment made at a press conference which has been made into a needless issue. This is normal language used in Haryana," he added.
Meanwhile, the BJP has demanded that the Congress take action against its state unit chief. Moreover, Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said Congress has always used this kind of language for the Prime Minister.
He was quoted as saying by ANI, "This video has caused extreme pain and anguish among BJP workers and the common man. This is below-the-belt language, it is the height of low-level politics which is being played by the Congress. Congress has always used this kind of language for the PM and his family.”
This comes as the ruling BJP is facing criticism over MP Ramesh Bidhuri's derogatory remarks in Lok Sabha against BSP leader Danish Ali.
