Bill Gates congratulates Narendra Modi government on 100 days of Ayushman Bharat scheme

NEW DELHI: Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on Thursday congratulated governments for PM Modi’s flagship healthcare scheme Ayushman Bharat for the successful completion of the first 100 days from its launch. "Congratulations to the Indian government on the first 100 days of @AyushmanNHA. It’s great to see how many people have been reached by the program so far. @PMOIndia", Bill Gates tweeted. As many as 31 states and Union Territories have signed MoUs with the Centre to be part of the scheme. The world's largest ambitious health care scheme PM-JAY will cover medical and hospitalisation expenses for almost all secondary care and most tertiary care procedures.
