Bihar: RJD leaders' shameful act, 'forcefully' click photos with Gaya rape victim
Several RJD leaders stopped the rape victim and started clicking pictures with her.
Gaya (Bihar): Two days after the bone-chilling gang-rape of a woman and a 15-year-old girl in Gaya; RJD leaders crossed all limits of ‘shamelessness’. The incident took place on Saturday, when the police was taking the victim for a medical check-up.
Several RJD leaders stopped the rape victim and started clicking pictures with her.
Angry and frustrated with RJD leaders, the rape victim lost her cool and removed the piece of cloth with which she was covering her face.
The horrendous incident of rape took place when the family was crossing the area on a motorcycle near Sondiha village in Konch Police Station area late night, following which the SHO here was suspended and 20 youths were arrested.
"The three were passing through Sondiha on a motorcycle when they were waylaid by the youths carrying firearms. They raped the mother and the daughter after tying the father to a tree," Inspector General of Police, Patna Zone, Naiyar Hasnain Khan, said.
The victims identified two of the arrested youths, he said.
"It also came to light during investigation that before the gang-rape incident, the same group of youths snatched away mobile phones and cash from a couple of students passing through the village," Khan said.
