Bentley Hit-And-Run Case: "Wasn't Behind The Wheel, Instead Took Victims To Hospital", Says Bengaluru MLA's Son Mohammed Nalapad

Bengaluru (Karnataka): Controversial MLA Nalapad Haris’s son Mohammed ran trouble once again after having allegedly rammed his Bentley into vehicles and a kiosk in Bengaluru. The incident reportedly occurred on February 9. Mohammed has, however, denied being involved in the accident and instead said he rescued the victims and helped them get admitted to the hospital. Bengaluru Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Ravikante Gowda told news agency ANI, Mohammed Nalapad appeared before the investigating officer today. He was arrested following interrogation. We are collecting evidence and will file a charge sheet shortly." Nalapad is out on bail, in connection with the matter where he had assaulted a man in a pub in Bengaluru in 2018.  "I was not in the car which met with accident. I was travelling in a Lamborghini car which was moving ahead of the car. However, I called people to rescue the victims. We took them to the hospital and paid their hospital bill," said Mohammed Nalapad. According to a report in Deccan Herald, three other people, including a six-year-old, suffered minor injuries. Nalapad reportedly fled in an unregistered Lamborghini while his bodyguard, Balakrishna, surrendered himself to the police, claiming he was at the wheel.
