Lawrence Bishnoi Plotted Baba Siddique Murder Within 10 Days Of Firing At Salman Khan's House
NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai on October 12.
Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi began plotting NCP leader Baba Siddique's murder within 10 days of the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment on April 14 this year.
The NCP leader was fatally shot outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai's Bandra area on October 12.
According to Mumbai police sources, the Bihshnoi gang initially plotted Khan's murder but when the plan could not succeed they tried to instil fear by carrying out a shootout outside his residence.
Following the incident, Bishnoi asked his henchmen to target people close to Salman Khan and in line with the plan started plotting Siddique's murder.
'Dabba Calling'
As per the sources, the Bishnoi gang members used the 'dabba calling method' to communicate in the Baba Siddique murder case.
A 'dabba calling' refers to a method of communication where a henchman of the gang boss places a call to the intended victim using the internet. Next, he places a second call to the boss using another mobile phone and keeps the two phones side-by-side putting both of them on speaker and letting the boss do the talking.
Using this 'dabba calling' method, Anmol Bishnoi used to communicate with shooters Shivakumar Gautam, Zeeshan Akhtar, Shubham Lonkar and Sujit Sigh.
The 'dabba calling' is used by crime gangs to evade tracing by authorities which was the same reason behind the Bishnoi gang using it. As per the sources, the Bishnoi gang had set up a teleexchange to facilitate communication through this makeshift method.
Through this, 4-5 people would join on a call with Anmol connecting to the henchman joining at the end, without letting the investigating agencies have any clue about it. To the agencies, it would appear as if Anmol is talking to someone else.
The Lawrence gang has used advanced communication methods like Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and a secret 'dabba calling' system to stay in touch with their associates and manage their criminal empire from jail, an official said.
