Exclusive Interview: Neeru Randhawa gives a detailed account of her traumatic past with Armaan Kohli

NEW DELHI:  Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli has been booked for assaulting live-in partner Neeru Randhawa at Mumbai's Santacruz police station. He is absconding ever since the incident has hit headlines in the media. A case has been registered under sections 323, 326, 504 and 506 against the 46-year-old actor-tuned-businessman. Armaan and his girlfriend were said to be in a live-in relationship since 2015. They met through a common friend and soon started dating. Neeru Randhawa, in an exclusive interview to ABP News, explained how traumatic her relationship was with the actor. Narrating about the incident, the 35-year-old said that the assault began while discussing about Armaan’s villa in Goa which she manages.  “A client had made the payment of Rs 63,000 to the villa staff. Armaan asked me about the money, she told him that she will ask the staff to transfer the amount to him. Hearing this he became angry and started physically assaulting me. He kicked me and I fell on the floor. She also says that the assault was recorded in the CCTV at his house. “I don’t know whether he has deleted the footage or not.” Soon, Armaan forced her to not approach the police or the media after the incident. “He sent me messages saying he won’t repeat such an act again and will get married within two days.” According to Neeru, in September last year, he had similarly hit her following which she went to Dubai. "He then came there to persuade me to return and promising that he would never get violent again. I agreed because I wanted to marry and get settled. She says she shared a close bond with his family and was the reason why she never left him even after constant abuse.  “Ï used to take care of his father and his disabled brother and in return I got this kind of abuse.” “Armaan never disclosed to the world the relationship I shared with him. He never introduced me as his girlfriend to the media or his friends,” she added. Now, Neeru says that she will not go back to Armaan and wishes no woman gets into a relationship with him. "It’s better to remain single than to be with this man,”she said. Kohli has appeared in several films like "Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani" and made his last big screen appearance in "LOC: Kargil" in 2003. He was last seen on superstar Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show "Bigg Boss" Season 7, where also he was accused of physically abusing a female co-participant. WATCH COMPLETE INTERVIEW BELOW:
