Heavy exchange of fire is taking place from both the ends. As per the police,  a woman civilian was killed in a cross-firing between security forces and militants. "Security forces were fired at when they launched an operation in Batpora village after a tip-off about the militants hiding in a house," the police said in a statement here." "In the cross firing, the woman was wounded and later succumbed to her injuries." All schools and colleges of the area have been shut down in order to ensure there is no hurdle in the ongoing operation. Even mobile services of the area have been suspended. As per Army sources, the locals in the valley, angry from the ongoing operation; have again resorted to stone pelting on Army vans.
