IAF Agnipath Scheme Recruitment 2022: Online Registration To Start From June 24. Check Details

Indian Air Force Recruitment 2022: The IAF document lists the eligibility, educational qualification and other factors for Agnipath job aspirants.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) will start online registration for all Agnipath job aspirants from June 24, 2022. The last date for application is July 5, 2022, on agnipathvayu.cdac.in. Unmarried male candidates (Indian/Nepalese) are eligible to appear for online test that is scheduled to be held from July 24, 2022, onwards. 

The IAF document lists the eligibility, educational qualification, medical standards, assessment, leave, remuneration, life insurance cover, etc., among many other factors.

As per the Agnipath scheme, youths between the ages of 17 and-a-half and 21 years would be inducted for a four-year tenure and 25 per cent of them would be subsequently inducted for regular service. The government has increased the upper age limit for recruitment under the Agnipath scheme to 23 years for this year.

IAF Agnipath Scheme Eligibility Criteria 2022

For Science Students:

Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

OR

Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).

OR

Passed Two years of Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/Councils which are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

Other Than Science Subjects:

Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subject approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

OR

Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in a vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

IAF Agnipath Scheme 2022 Age Limit: Candidates born between December 29, 1999, and June 29, 2005, (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

IAF Agnipath Scheme: Medical Standards

Agniveers will have to meet the medical eligibility conditions laid down for enrolment in the IAF as applicable to respective categories/trades. "No permanent Low Medical Category Agniveer will be eligible for continuation of his engagement after being placed on medical category," the notification said.
