Aero India 2025: Flight Operations At Bengaluru Airport To Take A Hit — Full Schedule

Aero India 2025: The restrictions will be in effect at Bengaluru from February 5 to February 14 with travellers advised to confirm their flight schedules in advance to avoid inconvenience.

The 15th edition of Aero India 2025, scheduled to take place in Bengaluru, will lead to temporary disruptions in flight operations at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), near Devanahalli. The rehearsals to be held at the Yelahanka Air Base will require specific hours of suspension in takeoffs and landings to facilitate smooth preparations and demonstrations during the air show.

The restrictions will be in effect from February 5 to February 14 with travellers advised to confirm their flight schedules in advance to avoid inconvenience. The precautionary measure ensures that the Indian Air Force’s flight activities during the air show remain undisturbed.

Detailed Schedule 

At Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, flight services will be halted between 9.00 AM - 12.00 PM and 2.00 PM - 5.00 PM from February 5 to 8. On February 9, flights will be suspended from 9.00 AM - 12.00 PM. On February 10, operations will be halted from 9.00 AM - 12.00 PM and 2.00 PM - 4.00 PM, as per a report on One India.

On February 11 and 12, no flights will be operated between 12.00 PM - 3.00 PM. On February 13 and 14, flights will remain restricted from 9.00 AM - 12.00 PM and 2.00 PM - 5.00 PM, reported India Today.

Currently, Bengaluru Airport falls under 'Large Airport' category according to ACI categorisation by handling 40.73 million passengers and a 17% rise in cargo volume in CY 2024. This achievement proves that the airport serves as a key hub for travel and trade in the region.

Meanwhile, Aero India, Asia’s largest air show, draws participants from across the globe. Aero India 2025 stands as the ultimate international hub for the aerospace sector, promoting innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among global professionals. It serves as a premier platform for industry leaders to connect and shape the future of aerospace advancements.

All the more, 180 buses are arranged to facilitate free travel to the air base. Around 15 countries have registered for the event.
