The snap poll will show results on factors such as who will form government if elections happen today, who is the most preferred Chief Minister, is Rahul Gandhi a direct challenge to Narendra Modi and many more.

New Delhi: ABP News recently conducted a survey to check the mood of the nation in terms of its political preference and whether people still bestow their trust to the incumbent government after the troublesome year of 2020. The unprecedented outbreak of Coronavirus and the nationwide lockdown imposed by the Modi government to contain the spread of the contagious disease was one of the biggest challenges faced by the current dispensation.

Some fractions including the Opposition raised questions on the way government handled the pandemic and the economic downfall caused due to the lockdown.

However, soon after the lockdown restrictions were eased, country started getting back on its toes and businesses started showing upward trends. India welcomed the year 2021 with positivity and a ray of hope to defeat the virus - the mega Coronavirus Vaccination Drive

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch India's COVID-19 vaccination drive on January 16 via video conferencing and adequate doses of the two made-in-India vaccines - Covishield & Covaxin - have been delivered across the country to all states and Union Territories.

While the whole world was battling against Covid-19, India conducted its first Assembly Elections in Bihar where Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal United (JDU) successfully managed retain the Chief Minister's office.

During the pandemic, country also witnessed a gigantic protest by farmers against three farm laws implemented by the Modi government. Thousands of farmers are still protesting against the contentious agri laws and have hurdled at Delhi's Singhu border since last 51 days.

Protesting farmer unions stuck to their demand for a complete repeal of three contentious farm laws at their ninth round of talks with three central ministers but while the government asked them to be more flexible in their approach and expressed willingness for necessary amendments.
