ABP News Shikhar Sammelan: ABP News is set to host its prestigious 'Shikhar Sammelan' event, renowned for its rigorous assessment of governmental performance and vibrant discussions on national issues. This year’s edition promises to be an enlightening forum, bringing together eminent figures, thought leaders, and citizens to engage in meaningful dialogues concerning the challenges and opportunities facing the nation.
The 'Shikhar Sammelan' event scheduled for Wednesday, 24 July 2024 features a distinguished lineup of speakers, including key NDA government ministers and opposition INDIA bloc leaders. Notably, the theme of the event is 'Bharat ka Budget' to discuss the numerous announcements made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sithraman on Tuesday amid the Parliament's Monsoon session.

Shikhar Sammelan Schedule & Guest List
The Shikhar Sammelan will commence at 12:30 PM with Chirag Paswan, the Minister of Food Processing Industries and Member of Lok Sabha from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas). He will discuss the challenges and advancements in India's food processing sector.
At 1:00 PM, a debate will take place between Sudhanshu Trivedi, Member of Rajya Sabha from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Supriya Shrinate, Chairperson of Social Media and Digital Platforms from the Congress. They will explore the role of digital platforms in political discourse and public engagement.
Following this, at 2:00 PM, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Minister of Tourism and Culture and Member of Lok Sabha from the BJP, is expected to address the budget allocations to boost tourism within the country.
At 2:30 PM, Sukanta Majumdar, Union Minister of State for Education & Development of North Eastern Region and West Bengal State President from the BJP, will discuss educational reforms and development initiatives in the North Eastern Region.
Pralhad Joshi, the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy, and Member of Lok Sabha from the BJP, will take the stage at 3:00 PM.
The event will continue at 4:00 PM with Akhilesh Yadav, President of the Samajwadi Party and Member of Lok Sabha, who will present his perspective on the Union Budget 2024, BJP's governance in his home state Uttar Pradesh as well as issues of national importance.
At 4:30 PM, Manish Tewari, Member of Lok Sabha from the Congress, will provide his perspectives on national security and public welfare.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Member of Lok Sabha from the BJP, will speak at 5:00 PM. He is likely to highlight the NDA government's agricultural policies and farmers' welfare programmes.
At 6:00 PM, Gaurav Gogoi, Deputy Leader of the Congress in the Lok Sabha, will share the opposition's viewpoint on the Union Budget 2024, and current government policies. He is also likely to bring attention to the woes affecting the Northeast, particularly strife-torn Manipur.
At 6:30 PM, Hardeep Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Member of Rajya Sabha from the BJP, will discuss energy policies and the budgetary allocation for the same.
The event will conclude at 7:00 PM with J. P. Nadda, Minister of Health, Chemicals and Fertilizers, and Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha from the BJP. He will focus on healthcare policies and the future of medical infrastructure in India along with the Modi government's budget.
