ABP News Executive Editor Indrajeet Rai Gets 'Bharat Gaurav Award' In France
Indrajeet Rai, an Executive Editor at ABP News channel, is also a forensic scientist who serves as a forensic trainer at various police academies in several states across India.
ABP News journalist Indrajeet Rai was honoured with the 11th International Bharat Gaurav Award for his remarkable contribution to forensic journalism. The award ceremony was held in the Senate (Parliament) of France.
Indrajeet Rai, an Executive Editor at ABP News channel, is also a forensic scientist who serves as a forensic trainer at various police academies in several states across India.
He is the first forensic journalist from India and the longest-serving forensic journalist in the world.
Indrajeet Rai received the honour from Dr Dominique Théophile, French MP Frédéric Buval, and Suresh Mishra. The award is given annually by the Bhartiya Sanskriti Sansthan.

Rai said he is deeply honoured to receive the award and thanked Suresh Mishra, Global President of Bharat Gaurav Samman, for the recognition.

Along with Indrajeet Rai, other awardees included Padma Bhushan recipient Shri Kamlesh D Patel, Padma Shri recipient Shri Sudhir Shah, Batul Begum who was honored with the Nari Shakti Award by President Ramnath Kovind, Manish Tripathi who designs clothes for Ramlalla in Ayodhya, and National Film Award winner Annu Kapoor, among others.
Moreover, Indians living in 18 countries who have brought pride to themselves and their country at an international stage were also honoured.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the French government, MPs, and numerous dignitaries and officials from the Indian Embassy.
During the ceremony, officials from the Indian Embassy congratulated the awardees and highlighted the historical relations between India and France.
Dr Dominique Théophile, Vice President of the French Parliament, stated that the world acknowledges the talent of Indians and the people of France, and citizens of both countries are continuously working for the betterment of the world.
Suresh Mishra offered his congratulations and said that Indians have succeeded in proving their capabilities globally and this honour is a way to salute their success.
