ABP Majha's Anchors Live Bulletin From Home, Small Contribution To Janata Curfew

ABP Majha is appealing to all the readers and viewers to not to step out of homes and to take care and curb the outbreak of coronavirus.

Mumbai: A strict public curfew was observed all over the country after the appeal by PM Narendra Modi and Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to curb the outbreak of Coronavirus, Covid-19. PM Modi had announced 22nd March as Janata Curfew which was very well followed by the citizens of the country. For the same, ABP Majha came up with a new idea to give its contribution to this curfew. The anchors of ABP Majha shot the bulletins from their homes. This was the first-ever attempt in the media industry where the anchors were working from home and doing live. ABP Majha's two anchors, Dnyanada Kadam and Ashvin Bapat, went live on air from their respective houses. To produce a bulletin and also get on air, a few technical things are necessary, which are quite hard for outdoor work. But the motto of the Janata Curfew was to not step out of houses and while working in the media, it is the first thing one must know that people have to work irrespective of festivals, lockdowns, and all the other tragedies. And producing bulletins from homes gave a message to the viewers to stay at home. This has never happened before in the history of the Indian Media industry. ABP Majha is also appealing to all the readers and viewers to not to step out of homes and to take care and curb the outbreak of coronavirus. My house turned into Peepli live - Dnyanada Kadam In my thirteen years of career, this was the first time I was doing this. It was an amazing experience, but there is nothing to feel proud about it. The reason for doing this was not really good. But this was definitely new for my family members and my neighbours. My house literally turned into 'peepli live'. My family supported me with this. It is really different working in the studio because everything is ready and available there, you always have a backup but here we had to take efforts, a lot. But I hope I don't have to do this again, said Dnyanada. Let's win the war against the Virus! - Ashvin Bapat The moment I came to know about this thing I was so curious to know how this is going to work actually. We've been giving lots of news regarding work from home for the past few days but that work we actually did today. I was surrounded by my people, my parents, wife, and my daughter and I was producing a live bulletin. In today's age while health has become a larger issue it is the family's support that is letting us go for work and their strong support really matters. I also talked to my parents in this bulletin, this was a very different kind of experience. They are our armors to fight with corona. Building us and keeping us strong. It was important that I should take the bulletin seriously, not getting excited, or let people involved, these were the things that I had to take care of. But the corona is contagious, so everyone was already taking care of maintaining distance. Still, I could enjoy the atmosphere of my home and freely do it. I also received appreciative messages from the viewers. Everyone's effort was paid off. This experiment was to balance social responsibility, and I was happy to be a part of it, let us stay together and win the fight against the war, let us stay home and fight with corona. Reporters are also taking all the care while reporting. We can imagine everyone working from home but not the reporters, reporters always take efforts to get the information going on the field for the viewers. But they are also taking all the measures to be taken while working outside on the field. All the reporters across Maharashtra, along with Mumbai, and feeding with all the possible updates of coronavirus and the Janata curfew.
