ABP-CVoter Survey: Will AAP Be Able To Open Its Account In Gujarat And Himachal Pradesh Polls? See Projections

ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll: While the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP campaigns extensively to increase its footprint in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, here is what the early predictions suggest for the party.

ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll 2022: The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party has been upbeat ever since it swept the Punjab Assembly elections, and is now all set to fight the assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. With Delhi-like promises of free electricity and other incentives, the party is trying hard to woo voters in the two states.

The party is projecting its ‘Delhi model’ to garner votes, but things may not be easy in the two states ruled by the BJP.

ABP News, in association with CVoter, conducted opinion polls in the two states to get a sense of AAP’s standing in the poll-bound Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll | 2022 Gujarat Assembly Election: AAP May Get A Single Vote Share

The AAP might find itself in hot water as the ABP News-CVoter has projected a single-seat projection, and a vote share of 17.4 per cent, for the party in the upcoming 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections.

The projected seat range for AAP in Gujarat is expected to be between 0 and 2.

The party has not declared its CM candidate yet but as per the survey, 15.6 per cent of voters favour the candidate that will be announced by the party, while 19.1 per cent of voters are of the opinion that the party will form the next government in the state.

Of the total people who participated in the CVoter survey, 18.3 per cent said the AAP contesting the election was a significant factor that could affect the 2022 Gujarat Assembly election.

ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll | 2022 Himachal Pradesh Assembly Election: No Seat For AAP?

Himachal Pradesh also does not seem to be an easy ground for the Aam Aadmi Party as the ABP News-CVoter survey predicts a 9.5 vote share with 0 seats for it in the hill state.

The party, which saw its several post holders switching sides with the BJP, has a projected seat range of 0 to 1.

Meanwhile, 9.5 per cent of voters in Himachal preferred the Aam Aadmi Party candidate even as the chief minister, even though as the party is yet to declare one.

[Disclaimer: The present opinion poll/ survey was conducted by CVoter. The methodology used is CATI interviews of adult (18+) respondents with random numbers drawn from standard RDD and the sample size for the same is 68,638 across 2 states (Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh). The same is also expected to have a margin of error of ±3 to ±5% and may not necessarily have factored in all criteria.]
