Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta, while welcoming the founding members of AAP who joined the party, said that Arvind Kejriwal used to boast about being a common man before coming to power, but today Delhi is witnessing a change in their behavior. "Aam Aadmi Party, which came to power through Satyagraha, is leaving the path of truth and following the path of lies and deceit. Kejriwal used to talk about democracy, but today has become Hitlerist," the state BJP head said. "Just like Hitler, Kejriwal has shown a way out of the party to those who give corrective feedback on the style of functioning. The result of this is that the founding members, who have established and strengthened AAP by working at grassroots level are leaving Kejriwal and joining the BJP," Adesh Gupta added. He further alleged that during the Corona crisis, Delhi Chief Minister spent crores of rupees in campaigning but did not help the poor and the needy. Delhi BJP chief also claimed that Kejriwal did not improve health facilities nor paid salary to Corona Warrior Corporation personnel. "These days, with the tax money of Delhiites, Kejriwal is busy expanding the party to other states and has kept the responsibilities of Delhi at bay. Even the average of the promises made by the Kejriwal government has not been fulfilled. The party formed in the name of the common man is now acting to cheat the common man," Gupta said. Tapan Rishi said that he along with other members were associated with the party in 2012 on a commitment that the it will bring some changes, but even after 8 years nothing has changed. In the name of the Aam Aadmi Party model, some development work is repeatedly being promoted. At the same time, Bablu Rajput said that neither members of Aam Aadmi Party gets respect nor opportunity for those working at the ground level. "The party which came with a promise of ending corruption is itself at the peak of corruption today," he added.
