Mulayam Singh Yadav's signature forged?

New Delhi: In a shocking development, it has been observed that, in the two expulsion letters of Kiranmoy Nanda and Ramgopal Yadav released by Mulayam Singh Yadav on January 1, the signatures of the SP supremo are different. In the midst of the bitter feud in the Yadav clan, SP supremo Mulayam Singh on January 1 expelled party's national vice president Kiranmoy Nanda  for attending the national convention called by the Akhilesh camp. He was sacked hours after Mulayam expelled Ramgopal Yadav for six years terming the decisions taken at the convention as "unconstitutional and illegal". In the letter to Nanda, Mulayam said he took part in the "emergency national representatives'  convention" which is not only "unconstitutional but also amounts to anti-party activities". While acting against Ramgopal for convening a national executive meet, Mulayam expelled him from Samajwadi Party for six years. Now, in the letter written to Kiranmoy Nanda, the signature of Mulayam Singh Yadav shows his full name and notably, that's exactly how the SP supremo makes his signature. Picture: ABP News The latter comes as a surprise as Mulayam Singh Yadav has always been seen making full signatures, i.e he writes his full name. Even in the election affidavit filed by Mulayam Singh Yadav, Yadav's signature is a full name signature in English. Mulayam Singh Yadav's signature forged? Picture: ABP News Even in Hindi, Yadav has always been seen writing his full name. This has raised a very serious question. Which is that, has someone else been taking decisions on behalf of Mulayam Singh Yadav in the ruling party? Shockingly, even Kiranmoy Nanda accepts that the signature of Mulayam Singh Yadav on Ramgoapal Yadav's expulsion letter is a fake. He says:
  • I have never seen 'Netaji' (Mulayam Yadav) make such signatures.
  • I have a lot of letters of Mulayam Singh Yadav. He always makes full signatures.
  • The other signature is a fake.
  • Many decisions are being taken in the name of 'Netaji'. (Mulayam Singh Yadav)
  • And this hasn't happened today for the first time, but has been happening for quite some time now in an attempt to break the party.
Nanda had chaired the national convention called by Ram Gopal Yadav that anointed Akhilesh the SP president, removed his uncle Shivpal Yadav as the state unit chief and expelled Amar Singh. The two different signatures have led to speculations that somebody else has been signing documents and taking decisions on the behalf of Mulayam Singh Yadav using his fake signatures. Members from inside the family are being accused of making fake signatures on behalf of Mulayam Singh Yadav to allegedly take selfish decisions. A reaction from the party on the matter is awaited. More details: Samajwadi Party split with rival factions carrying out mutual expulsions as Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav sought to take control of the ruling party in Uttar Pradesh. In dramatic developments, Akhilesh was "unanimously" crowned the SP president and his warring uncle Shivpal Yadav removed as state party chief at a national convention called by Ram Gopal Yadav, where the CM's faction claimed that over 200 of the party's 229 MLAs, around 30 MLCs, besides majority of office bearers of district units were present. Ram Gopal also moved a proposal to make Mulayam Singh, the founder president of the party, as party patron while "outsider" Amar Singh was expelled from the party. Watch: (With inputs from PTI)
