India Coronavirus Cases Today: 1.32 Lakh New Covid Cases, 3,207 Deaths Recorded In Past 24 Hrs

As per the health bulletin issued by the Union Health Ministry, the total cases recorded so far are 2,83,07,832. 

New Delhi: A day after reporting 1.5 lakh cases if Coronavirus, India reported 1,32,788 new COVID-19 cases, 2,31,456 discharges and 3,207 deaths in last 24 hours. As per the health bulletin issued by the Union Health Ministry, the total cases recorded so far are 2,83,07,832. 

  • Total cases: 2,83,07,832
  • Total discharges: 2,61,79,085   
  • Death toll: 3,35,102   
  • Active cases: 17,93,645  
  • Total vaccination: 21,85,46,667

The ministy said that the total vaccine doses administered so far are 21,85,46,667. Vaccine doses administered in last 24 hours 23,97,191. 

Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) informed that a total of 35,00,57,330 samples tested up to June 1, inclusive of data reconciled by the States. Of these, 20,19,773 samples were tested on Tuesday, June 1. 

The central government on Tuesday said the Covid-19 active cases are down by 50 percent, adding the cases have been consistently declining for one week in at least 30 states and Union Territories. Stating the “recovered cases are more than the daily cases now with the recoveries increasing to 92% now, Centre further said “20 lakh tests on an average in one week”.
