Breaking: Goa Nightclub Fire Case – Court Sends Four Accused to 6-Day Police Custody

In a major development in the Goa nightclub fire tragedy, all four accused have been produced before the court and sent to six days of police custody. The incident, linked to a fire outbreak at a nightclub in Anjuna, has claimed the lives of 25 people and sparked nationwide outrage over safety lapses and alleged negligence. According to initial investigations, the fire reportedly broke out during a fireworks display inside the club, which quickly spread and caused heavy casualties. Visuals of the incident revealed how sparks from the fireworks ignited the premises, highlighting serious violations of fire safety norms. Goa Police’s Anjuna division is currently investigating whether a mandatory fire safety audit was conducted prior to the event and if proper permissions were in place. Authorities are examining multiple angles, including management responsibility, safety protocol lapses, and crowd control measures. Among the arrested are senior staff members including a Chief General Manager and a Gate Manager, indicating that responsibility may extend to top-level management. The accused were presented in court, following which the judge granted police custody for six days to allow further detailed interrogation. Officials have assured strict action and continued investigation to ensure justice for the victims.
