A Delhi man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his wife, whose body was found in a drain in Delhi nearly a month ago. Anil Kumar, a businessman, was married to the deceased, Seema Singh.
According to NDTV, Kumar has been arrested on the suspicion that he killed her and dumped her body in the drain. Seema Singh’s body was found wrapped up in a bedsheet and tied to a stone and cement sack in a drain in Delhi on March 15. She was 47 at the time of her death.
The investigation took a crucial turn when the police traced the nose pin worn by the woman. This led them to a jewellery store in South Delhi, and upon reviewing the store's purchase records, the police discovered that the nose pin had been bought by a man named Anil Kumar, a property dealer based in Delhi who lived at a farmhouse in Gurugram.
