Hours After Receiving Bail, Deep Sidhu Arrested Again By Delhi Police Crime Branch - Know Why
A couple of hours after receiving bail from a Delhi court, Punjabi actor-activist Deep Sidhu was again arrested by the Delhi Police in complaint registered by Archeological Survey of India (ASI)
Punjabi actor-activist Deep Sidhu-- a couple of hours after receiving bail from a Delhi court in a case pertaining to the Republic Day violence at Red Fort-- was again arrested by the Delhi Police in another case.
According to reports, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police nabbed Sidhu regarding an FIR filed by the Archeological Survey of India (ASI). ASI, which maintains the Red Fort, had filed a separate complaint against Deep Sidhu stating how the protesters broke open the walls, caused damage and ransacked the fort complex office on January 26.

Earlier today, the Delhi Court granted him bail on a personal bond of Rs 30,000. Under the conditions imposed by the court, Sidhu was directed to appear at the police station, submit his passport, not change the phone number and will not tamper with the evidence of violence.
The court also directed him that he shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and, in every manner, as required by the investigating officer.
Sidhu was arrested in February from Karnal in Haryana by the Delhi Police Special Cell in the case concerning the violence that took place at Red Fort on January 26 during the farmers' tractor rally.
Chaotic scenes were witnessed at the Red Fort in Delhi during the farmers' tractor parade as some miscreants clashed with the police. As violent scenes were being reported from several parts of Delhi, many protesters reached the Red Fort and entered the monument.
