Shocking! Woman In MP's Guna Forced To Walk For 3 Kms Carrying In-Law On Her Shoulders; Video Goes Viral
A video of a woman carrying a kin of her ex-husband's family on her shoulders has gone viral. A case has been registered and 3 have been arrested.
New Delhi: In the now-viral video, a woman can be seen walking with a boy on her shoulders while a few people follow her, some carrying cricket bats and sticks while some laugh at her humiliation. This horrific video is from Guna, Madhya Pradesh where a tribal woman was forced to carry a member of her husband's family on her shoulders and walk for 3 kilometres.

The incident took place between the Sagai and Bans khedi villages of Guna district. She had allegedly left her husband for someone else. Angered by this, her relatives also allegedly beat her. According to ANI, "a case registered. 3 of 4 accused arrested," said SP Guna. The video that has been shared widely, shows the woman walking and struggling and the villagers carrying sticks and bats walk alongside.
This is the second of such incidents which is coming from Madhya Pradesh. Last year, in July a Jhabua woman was forced to carry her husband on her shoulder while villagers jeered and heckled her as she was accused of have an affair.
According to an NDTV report, in the woman's complaint, she said that she has separated from her husband by mutual consent and now has a relationship with another man. However, last week she was abducted by her ex-husband's family who made her go through this humiliation. The woman was also allegedly beaten by the family members.
