Ducati India Wraps Up Independence Day Ride

Ducati India recently concluded its Independence Day ride which was held across the brand’s dealership network in the country. The ride was conducted to support the cause of providing education and better living conditions for children living in the slums. Over 350 Ducati riders from across the country participated in the event. The ride started at 7 in the morning on Independence Day across Ducati dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata and Chennai.

In the NCR, the ride commenced from the Ducati dealership in Gurugram, after a session with the members and children from the non-profit organisation. The riders rode to India Gate, before returning back to the dealership. The convoy included a range of Ducati motorcycles starting from the Scrambler to the Multistrada family. New Delhi, 16th August 2018: Luxury motorcycle brand Ducati successfully concluded its first Independence Day Ride in India, in partnership with Lotus Petal foundation. Over 350 Ducatisti from across the Ducati dealer network came together to celebrate the spirit of Independence and supported the cause of providing education and life of dignity for the children living in the slums.

Kids supported by the Lotus Petal foundation and its founding members, spoke to the Ducatisti at the Ducati Gurgaon showroom and also flagged off the ride which passed through India gate and Delhi roads before culminating in Gurgaon.

Sergi Canovas, MD of Ducati India, said “It’s a proud moment for Ducati, to have organized a first-of-its-kind Independence Day ride in the country, in association with the Lotus Petal Foundation. The Ducati family came out in great numbers to show their support to the cause and help raise awareness to transform the lives of the underprivileged. The participation from Ducatistis was a testimony to the brand and the motorcycle community giving a perfect platform for riders to come together to pledge independence from everything that’s holding these children back from achieving their aspirations.”

The rides started at 7 AM from the Ducati dealerships across Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata & Chennai and the Independence Day ended on a positive note with the spirit of independence truly and aptly celebrated by Ducati India and its motorcycle community.
