Cyberpunk 2077 Set To Launch This Weekend, Here’s What’s Worth Looking Forward To

Cyberpunk 2077 is all set to be released in three days but pre-order is now available. Here's more about what can be expected.

New Delhi: The much-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on December 10, 2020 local time, but for those who cannot wait, pre-order is available and it comes with its perks. Cyberpunk 2077 is an action multiplayer game by CD Projekt. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. According to the website, “Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.”  ALSO READ|PUBG Mobile India Release: Here Are 5 Things We Know About The India-Specific Game So Far The game has been teased and the launch dates have been moved around, making gamers impatient. Many game content creators who did receive the game before found that the game has a patch. YouTuber DreamcastGuy has shared a screenshot on Twitter, which suggests that the game will get a 43.5GB patch after launch. But, CD Projekt Red’s public relations manager Fabian Mario Döhla responded by saying, “It’s an update but - fun twist - not the update we’ll have for launch.” This suggests Cyberpunk 2077 will get a different update at launch and the 43GB patch sometime later. For Stadia players, a pre-order of Cyberpunk 2077 will come with Stadia Premiere Edition which includes a Stadia Controller and Chromecast Ultra.
