New Delhi: Congress leader Shashi Tharoor once again is winning Twitter, as he became a hit on the microblogging site after he shared a few of his pictures from the Onam festival.
Thiruvananthapuram's Lok Sabha MP brought meme fest after one of his pictures - breaking the coconut - was altered a bit for merry reasons by Twitterati.
As various memes brought cheers to netizens, the Congress leader was also swayed with the trend and tweeted three of his favourites among the several memes that flooded Twitter.

Tweeple cropped the picture of Thiruvananthapuram MP and created memes by placing the leader in different scenarios.
As Tharoor, who has a following of over 8 Million on the microblogging site, shared his pictures the memes started floating on the social media platform within a short time.

Initially, Tharoor shared photos of Onam celebrations, where he can be seen in a yellow kurta and white mundu, breaking a coconut at a temple in Kerala.
“Offered a ‘Niramala’ at the Elevanchery Bhagavathy Kshetram a few minutes from my ancestral home (where I also smashed a ritual coconut and prayed to the Naga gods worshipped by all Nairs). Onam blessings to all especially those suffering in these troubled times,” tweeted Tharoor with the celebration pictures.
