Modi To Address Poll Rallies In Rajasthan On Thursday, Friday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public meeting at Karauli-Dholpur on Thursday and at Barmer in Rajasthan on Friday in support of the respective BJP candidates. Prime Minister Modi will reach Jaipur airport at 12.30 pm on April 11. From here he will leave for Karauli and address the Vijay Shankhnad Sabha in Karauli at 1.15 pm, state BJP spokesperson Pramod Vashishth said in a release. Modi will address the Vijay Shankhnad public meeting on April 12 at 11.40 am at the Adarsh Stadium in Barmer. A road show will be held subsequently from Somnath Square to Gupteshwar Darwaja in Dausa at 3 pm. As part of the campaign in this Lok Sabha election, Modi has addressed party meetings in Kotputli, Churu and Pushkar.
Home Minister Amit Shah To Address 3 Rallies In MP, Maharashtra On Thursday
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday will visit Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra during which he will address three rallies to campaign for BJP candidates and attend other programmes, sources said.Shah will first travel to Mandla in Madhya Pradesh where he will perform puja at Maa Narmada Pujon Rapta ghat. After that, he will garland the statue of Rani Durgavati in the town.Subsequently, the senior BJP leader will address a rally at the local police ground under the Mandla Lok Sabha constituency, sources said.In the afternoon, he will travel to Katni in Madhya Pradesh where he will offer prayer at Vijaynath Dham mandir in the town and then he address a rally at the town, which comes under the Khajuraho Lok Sabha constituency.In the evening, Shah will travel to Nanded in Maharashtra where he will address a rally for the BJP candidate.
Eid To Be Celebrated In India On Thursday
Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the culmination of the fasting month of Ramzan, will be celebrated in the country on Thursday as the moon was not sighted this evening.Eid will, however, be celebrated across Kerala and in Leh and Kargil Wednesday.Delhi's Fatehpuri Masjid Imam Mufti Mukarram Ahmad told PTI that the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of the mosque contacted many places and was informed that moon was not sighted.Therefore, Eid will be celebrated in India on Thursday and on Wednesday the 30th fast of Ramzan will be observed, he said.Former Imam of Shahi Jama Masjid Syed Ahmed Bukhari said there is no news of sighting of the moon of Shawwal.Contacts were made in different parts of India - Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal and Bihar, but the moon was not sighted anywhere, he said.Eid will be celebrated on Thursday, April 11, Bukhari said.
Indian Army's Trishakti Corps Conducts High-Altitude ATGM Firing Exercise In Sikkim
The Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army conducted a training drill involving the firing of Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGM) at Super High-Altitude Area of 17000 Feet in Sikkim. Missile Firing Detachments from Mechanised and Infantry Units of the entire Eastern Command participated in the training exercise.
The training exercise involves comprehensive continuity training and live firing from different platforms on moving as well as static targets depicting battlefield conditions. The ATGM Detachments demonstrated the capability to neutralise armoured threats with unparalleled lethality, ensuring mission success on treacherous mountains. The ATGM system’s performance in high-altitude environments reaffirms the aim of 'Ek Missile Ek Tank', and showcases the accuracy and effectiveness of the ATGM system in Super High-Altitude terrain, ANI reported.

Man Kills Wife, Seven Children In Pakistan's Muzaffargarh District
A man brutally killed his wife and seven children in the Mudwala area of Alipur Tehsil of Pakistan's Muzaffargarh district, as confirmed by the Police. Officials attributed the murders to financial problems, confirming that the accused suffered from a leg disability and worked as a tailor.
