Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Reddy Launches Second Phase Of Land Resurvey Scheme

The Chief Minister said that all 11,000 wards and village secretariats would operate as sub-registrar offices for property registration.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday launched the second phase of the "Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Hakku and Bhu Raksha Pathakam" resurvey programme in Srikakulam’s Narasannapeta. Through this scheme, digital records of land will be prepared so that no one can tamper with the records in the future.

CM Reddy stated that the Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Hakku and Bhu Raksha Pathakam scheme would ensure hassle-free property rights with proper documentation. He said the government had provided training to 10,185 surveyors to help them overcome any obstacle in the scheme's execution.

While launching the programme, the CM said, “I have observed that 80% to 90% of civil cases happen because of land issues. This survey will put an end to such disputes.”

The Chief Minister said that all 11,000 wards and village secretariats would operate as sub-registrar offices for property registration. He stated that the establishment of 13 new districts and 25 revenue divisions would benefit the people by bringing government services closer to them.
