The SKM also said that they will be holding a meeting to decide the future course of action, ABP News reported. The farmers' protests had other demands too which included drafting laws on the issue of Minimum Support Price. Still there are a lot of demands that the government has not fulfilled.
Leader of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, Rakesh Tikait has given his statement regarding repealing the farm laws. Through a tweet, the farmer leader said that the protest would not be withdrawn yet. “We are waiting for the day when the laws will be repealed in the parliament,” wrote Tikait. He further wrote that the government needs to talk on other issues of the farmers as well along with the MSP.
आंदोलन तत्काल वापस नहीं होगा, हम उस दिन का इंतजार करेंगे जब कृषि कानूनों को संसद में रद्द किया जाएगा ।

Bhanu Pratap Singh, president of the BKU-Bhanu faction, welcomed the move, but urged PM Modi to constitute a farm committee that would determine the crop rates. He also demanded to waive farmers’ loans. “I welcome this move. Due to anti-farm policies for 75 years, farmers died due to debts. I urge PM Modi to form a farm committee and let it decide crop rates. Farmers' loans should be waived off in a day through an announcement like today's,” said Bhanu Pratap, as reported by ANI.
