Due to the heavy traffic expected, strict restrictions will be in place, especially on the route from Shanti Niketan (Junior) School Road to Motera Stadium. Residents were warned to avoid beaches and remain indoors during the deluge, while transportation and aircraft operations were also disrupted. People in Dubai took to social media to post videos of the heavy rain. 

 

South Korea is planning to put an end to the age-old practice of consuming dog meat, amid the rise in awareness about animal rights. According to a Reuters report, while the practice has drawn criticism from overseas, there has been growing disapproval in the country itself, especially among the younger generation. 

 

BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain were allegedly stopped at the Delhi International Airport on Thursday due to a look-out circular issued against the couple related to the fraud allegations at the fintech firm, media reports revealed. The couple were scheduled to travel to New York on Thursday when they were stopped by the airport authorities citing a lookout circular issued by the Economic Offences Wing (EoW) of the Delhi police, reported PTI.
