World Rainforest Day Theme

World Rainforest Day was created in 2017 to celebrate the importance and diversity of rainforests and foster a sense of shared global responsibility to protect rainforests around the world.

This year it’s the 5th edition of the day and the theme is “The Time Is Now”

The focus of World Rainforest Day lies in the fact that one should remain positive and think of methods to preserve rainforests. These rainforests circulate oxygen, keep our water clean, absorb carbon dioxide and help in keeping local communities alive.

Significance Of World Rainforest Day

The day is celebrated in order to raise awareness about the importance of rainforests and what it does for us. By coming together, we can effectively protect these rainforests and preserve their lifespan just the way it has been doing the same for us for so many years.
So, this World Rainforest Day let us all come together and work towards conserving the rainforests.
